asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he has any plans to equip Royal Air Force master diversion airfields with a secondary radar facility.

The Ministry of Defence, in close consultation with the Civil Aviation Authority and the national air traffic services, is considering proposals for the introduction of secondary surveillance radars at master diversion and certain other Royal Air Force airfields.
