asked the Lord Privy Seal if he will make a statement on the situation in Southern Lebanon.

We are concerned at the recent rise in tension in Southern Lebanon and we hope all parties will abide by the ceasefire agreed last year. Through our embassies abroad we have made our concern known to Arab Governments, the Palestine Liberation Organisation and Israel.
