asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has any plans to increase the fees for firearms certificates; what are the present fees; and what they were in each of the preceding four years.

A review of the level of firearm certificate fees is currently under way to determine whether any increase in the present fees is necessary.The present fees are £21·00 for the grants of a firearm certificate and £13·25 for the renewal or variation of a firearm certificate. The fees over the preceding four years are shown below:
