asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report the information on which he based his estimate that £20 million would be realised in the current year from the sale of National Health Service land, contained in his speech of 17 March, Official Report, column 419.

This estimate was based on reports by health authorities of sales completed in the first laboratory service the following net sums, based on estimates supplied by the public health laboratory service board, are allocated for the centre:10 months of the financial year 1982–83 to a value of £15·1 million and forecasts of sales expected to be completed in February and March 1983 of £5·1 million.
