asked the Secretary of State for the Environment, pursuant to his reply to the right hon. Member for Brent, East on 5 April, Official Report, c. 262, what has been the gross and net annual cost in 1970 prices of running the Serpentine Lido for each year since 1970.

This information expressed in 1970 prices cannot readily be produced. I will write to the right hon. Member giving these costs for the last 10 financial years in constant price terms as far as that is possible.
