asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in view of the fact that on at least five previous occasions patients at Broadmoor released temporarily, committed crimes including murder during that release, he will review his policy on this matter.

The general question of arrangements for leave of absence for special hospital patients has been reviewed in the last two years. I refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon.
