Sir Patrick Wall
asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will name the warships that are due to enter service by 1988 and give the date on which their keels were laid down.

All warships currently ordered are expected to be completed before the end of 1988. Not all of these vessels have yet had their keels laid. Details are as follows:
