For information about pupil-teacher ratios in education authority primary and secondary schools at September 1981 I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to him on 23 February 1982. At September 1980, the pupil-teacher ratio in education authority nursery schools was 25.3:1 and the overall pupil-staff ratio was 6.5:1.
