asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list, under the headings of expansions and new jobs, the numbers of jobs promoted by the Department of Commerce in each of the years 1980–81 and 1981–82.

The number of jobs promoted in Northern Ireland by the Department of Commerce in the financial years 1980–81 and 1981–82 was as follows:
