Mr. Arthur Lewis
asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the increased travel expenditure incurred by workers during the rail dispute, he will consider introducing a scheme to enable fares paid by workers going to and from their work to be allowed as proper expenses on their tax returns.
