asked the Attorney-General how many applications for relief from prosecution under Representation of the People Acts have been presented in each of the past 20 years.

[pursuant to his reply, 16 July 1982, c. 480]: Applications for relief may be made to the High Court, to an election court or to the county court. No central records are kept of such applications as are made to the county court. The total figures of such applications as have been made either to the High Court or to election courts in each of the past 20 years are as follows:
