Mr. Secretary Heseltine, supported by Mr. Secretary Whitelaw, Mr. Secretary Edwards, Mr. Leon Brittan, the Attorney-General, Mr. John Stanley and Sir George Young, presented a Bill to make further provision with respect to the rights of secure tenants in England and Wales and, in connection therewith, to amend the objects of certain housing associations and housing trusts; to amend the law of England and Wales relating to the supervision of building work, the building regulations and building control; and for connected purposes; And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed [Bill 4].
