I assume that the hon. Member has in mind the proposals in the recent Inland Revenue review of the collection service. This proposes a reduction in the number of collection offices; but final decisions on the review's proposals, including decisions as to which offices should be listed for closure, have not yet been taken. I am putting a copy of the review in the House of Commons Library.
