asked the Secretary of State for Industry what grants are available for an application from Hermanns chicken producers of East Markham, Nottinghamshire, towards taking over the Buxted chicken factory at Gainsborough, both from the United Kingdom Government and the European Economic Community.

Assistance might be available under section 7 of the Industry Act 1972 for a viable project which meets the published criteria.There are no grants available from the EEC, but a loan might be available from the European Investment Bank.
