asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether any further progress has been made between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland on cross-border security co-operation; and if he will make a statement.

The excellent working relationship between the Royal Ulster Constabulary and the Garda Siochana continues to play a major and effective role in combating terrorist crime on both sides of the border.
