unemployed for more than two years for
(a) Scotland and (b) each county in Scotland, ranked from highest to lowest;
(3) what was the rate of increase between April 1979 and October 1982 in the number of persons registered as unemployed for more than 52 weeks for (a) Scotland and (b) each county in Scotland, ranked from highest to lowest;
(4) what was the rate of increase between October 1979 and October 1982 in the number of persons registered as unemployed for more than 52 weeks for (a) Scotland and (b) each county in Scotland, ranked from highest to lowest.
The results of the October 1982 analysis of the unemployment register by duration of unemployment are not yet available. I shall reply to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
