asked the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 29 November, if he will give the information requested about stock levels of ammunition on the Falklands in the most convenient available form.

Based on the expenditure of ammunition between 21 May and 14 June, the British forces on the Falkland Islands were in possession of sufficient small arms ammunition to sustain operations for a further three months and sufficient artillery ammunition for about seven weeks.
