asked the Minister for Trade how many live cattle were imported from Ireland and Northern Ireland, respectively, during the last 12 months; and what were the corresponding figures for the last five years.

[pursuant to the reply, 30 November 1982, c. 151]: The numbers of live cattle imported into the United Kingdom from the Irish Republic and of those sent from Northern Ireland to Great Britain have been as follows:
