asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received on the consultation document which he issued in May 1982 concerning the body which is to be charged with designating buildings which must be made accessible for disabled people; and when he expects to announce his decision on this matter.

Comments on the consultation document on the implementation of section 37 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotlandl Act 1981 were received from 14 organisations. These comments are now being considered and my right hon. Friend will make an announcement of our intentions as soon as possible.
