asked the Prime Minister whether she will make it her policy not to seek the excision from the final report of the Franks committee of material solely on the grounds that it is concerned with the structure and methodology of Government decision-making.

As I said in my statement in the House on 8 July—[c. 470]—the Government will make no deletions from the committee's report save strictly on the grounds of protecting national security or international relations.
