asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what financial assistance Her Majesty's Government provide to those wishing to emigrate.

Assistance with fares and incidental expenses is available in certain circumstances from Government funds for immigrants to this country who have failed to settle here and wish to return permanently overseas but lack the means to do so themselves.
