asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he proposes to implement his scheme to give special help to those who purchased Airey houses from their local authorities and now face the prospect of having their homes demolished.

Subject to parliamentary approval of the relevant orders we are working to a time table that will enable the Airey houses scheme that I announced on 7 September to be fully implemented by 14 February 1983.
