asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will ensure that the United Kingdom delegation at the Nairobi conference of the United Nations Decade for Women will include a female representative from the health population division of the Overseas Development Administration.

We have no plans to include a representative from the health and population division of the Overseas Development Administration in the United Kingdom delegation. However, I can assure the hon. Member that the United Kingdom delegation will be briefed on population issues likely to be raised at the conference.
