asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the function of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation mooring buoys in Loch Linnhe, near Ballachulish.

There are no NATO mooring buoys in Loch Linnhe. The five buoys located there, which the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service maintains, are owned by the Department of Transport.
