I refer to the reply given by my hon. Friend the Member for Pudsey (Mr. Shaw) to the hon. Member for Edinburgh, East (Mr. Strang) on 3 April 1984 at columns 435–36. We have made known our requirement for assurances of peaceful use of United Kingdom equipment and material supplied to France for the purpose of the collaboration.
