asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the cost to Britain of providing host nation support to United States forces in Britain.

The United Kingdom provides the United States forces based here with local support and assistance in the same way as do other NATO member countries with Allied forces on their territory. In some cases, this support is provided free of charge. In others, it is provided on full or partial repayment. The details of these arrangements remain confidential between the two Governments.
