Exercise Brave Defender

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now list those police forces which have indicated that they will participate in Exercise Brave Defender.

So far, chief officers of the following police forces in England and Wales have indicated an intention to participate in Exercise Brave Defender:

  • Bedfordshire police
  • Cambridgeshire constabulary
  • City of London police
  • Cleveland constabulary
  • Derbyshire constabulary
  • Essex police
  • Hampshire constabulary
  • Hertfordshire constabulary
  • Humberside police
  • Leicestershire constabulary
  • Metropolitan police
  • Norfolk constabulary
  • Northamptonshire police
  • Northumbria police
  • North Yorkshire police
  • Nottinghamshire constabulary
  • South Yorkshire police
  • Staffordshire police
  • Suffolk constabulary
  • Surrey constabulary
  • Sussex police
  • Warwickshire constabulary
  • West Mercia constabulary
  • West Midlands police
  • West Yorkshire Metropolitan police
It is expected that most of the remaining police forces will also participate, although final decisions have not yet been taken.
