asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what is the percentage by which development awards made by the dairy produce tribunals can be met from the special case reserve available in each region of the United Kingdom;(2) what is the estimated percentage dairy farmers who have been granted development awards by the dairy produce tribunals are expected to receive.

For the quota year 1984–85 wholesale producers who were granted development awards have received or will receive the following percentages of their awards:

Northern Ireland49·0
All these awards are derived from the initial regional reserves. Direct sellers received 100 per cent. of their awards in all regions.
