asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the contracts, with the subject of assignment, awarded to management consultancy firms by his Department in 1984, with the name of the consultants concerned.

The following management consultancy firms were awarded contracts by Her Majesty's Treasury in 1984. With the exception of the first, all were placed by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency.
