asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what assessments have been carried out in the National Health Service of recent Japanese advances in the treatment of hay fever.

We have no knowledge of such advances. If any developments are reported, no doubt clinicians will take due account of them in deciding upon appropriate treatment for particular patients.
