asked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for June each year since 1970 and at the latest available date the number of full-time adult male employees and the number of part-timers, together with the corresponding figures for adult females.

The following table gives the available information for each year since 1971; figures for 1970 are not available. The data relates to all males and all females as there is no breakdown between adults and juveniles. Information for male part-time employees in employment is available only from the censuses of employment.
