asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what was the proportion of United Kingdom produced materials used in the projects supported through the aid and trade provisions in each year since 1979.

Support from the aid and trade provision is generally confined to foods and services provided from the United Kingdom. The information my hon. Friend requests is not available but the content of projects won with ATP backing is overwhelmingly of United Kingdom origin.
