asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether Government proposals regarding transferabihty of pension rights will cover company pensions which have already been frozen following an individual's early retirement

The provisions of part II of schedule 1A which would be inserted into the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 by the Social Security Bill currently before Parliament are intended to apply only to a member of in occupational pension scheme whose pensionable service terminates after those provisions come into effect, which is expected to be 1 January 1986
