Mr. Freeman
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he is satisfied with progress with the return to democratic and peaceful government in Grenada.
Mr. Renton
The report of the British high commissioner to Grenada who observed the elections held in Grenada on 3 December 1984 concluded that the proceedings had been conducted in a free, fair and secret manner. A copy of the high commissioner's report was placed in the Library of the House. Nothing has happened since that has changed our views on the peaceful progress of democracy in Grenada.
