asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what consideration he has given to the use of labour-saving benefits from the use of new technology to enable offices of bodies for which his Department is responsible which directly serve the public to remain open in the evening and at weekends.

The Treasury as such is not responsible for any bodies the offices of which provide a direct service to the public.
