asked the Secretary of State for Social Services at what level of income support benefit will be payable to the families of those involved in trade disputes following the abolition of the non-householder supplementary benefit scale rage; and if he will make a statement.

We shall be giving further consideration to the implications of the proposed income support structure for the benefit position of those involved in a trade dispute.
