asked the Secretary of State for Transport (1) what tests are done to ensure the roadworthiness of vehicles leaving the United Kingdom;(2) what regulations govern the roadworthiness of coaches leaving the United Kingdom, the competence of the drivers and the safety of the passengers, over and above those required for driving in the United Kingdom.

We do not impose special regulations or tests on vehicles or drivers leaving the United Kingdom, and know of no other country which does so.
