Mr. Meacher
asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many households will receive reduced housing benefit as a result of the changes to take effect on 25 November if they have (a) a pensioner, (b) a disabled person, (c) an unemployed person or (d) a young person up to 21 years, employed and unemployed, non-dependant, living with them; how much each one will lose; and how many households will lose benefit completely.
Mr. Newton
[pursuant to his reply, 8 July 1985. c. 367]: I regret that an assessment of the work involved in providing this information has shown that it would entail disproportionate cost.
