asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in the light of experience of the operation of the limited list over the past six months, he will now update the projected annual savings in cost to the National Health Service expected to arise; and if he will make a statement.

The limited information so far available is generally in line with the forecast annual saving of £75 millions.
