asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what are the figures for the amounts scheduled per dentist in the General Dental Services of the National Health Service for the months April to September 1985 inclusive; and what are the comparable figures for the equivalent months from 1981 to 1984 inclusive.

The information requested is not available on a monthly basis. The average amounts scheduled per dentist* in England and Wales for the quarters April to June and June to September in each of the years 1981 to 1985 are as follows:
