asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is yet in a position to give details of the Government's proposals for legislation to provide for the confiscation of the proceeds of drug trafficking; and if he will make a statement.

A statement of the Government's proposals has been placed in the Library and in the Vote Office. It is intended to bring forward legislation shortly to give effect to these proposals.
