asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the cost of each satellite in the SkyNet satellite system; and from which service Vote it will come.
Mr. Norman Lamont
The cost of each satellite in the current SkyNet programme is approximately £45 million at today's prices. The cost will fall on defence Vote 2.
