asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report a table like that published in a written answer on 27 January at columns 229–30 showing for the years 1974–75 to 1978–79 the actual proceeds of public sector sales of assets outside the central privatisation proceeds.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report the opening and closing price on the first day of trading of the shares sold in the privatisation share issues, together with, in each case, the number of shares sold.

[pursuant to his reply, 27 February 1987]: The table gives the information requested on the number of shares and the closing prices on the first day of trading. Opening trading prices are not centrally available.
