asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement about the graduate attachment scheme.

A pilot graduate attachment programme administered by the Northern Ireland Small Business Institute and sponsored by the Department of Economic Development commenced on 5 January 1987. The 26-week programme provides 25 places for unemployed graduates who are receiving practical and meaningful work experience with companies in the small business sector to enhance their prospects of managerial employment.
