asked the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received on the future development of Liverpool street station; and if he will make a statement.

I have had several representations from MPs in the last few weeks about the redevelopment of Liverpool street station. The redevelopment is a management matter for British Rail. They assure me that with the new track layout and signalling systems they will be able to cope with the forecast traffic.
