asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what meetings he has held with representatives of the National Unity of Salvadorean Workers; and if he will make a statement.

None, but representatives of this union called on Foreign Office officials in London in December 1986 and February 1987. As part of their normal duties, Her Majesty's diplomatic staff accredited to El Salvador maintain contact with the trade unions.
