asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what percentage of houses and flats built on London Docklands Development Corporation owned land between July and December 1986, were sold to those on the housing waiting lists of Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Newham councils.

Between the establishment of the corporation in July 1981 and 31 December 1986 45 per cent. of the sales of houses constructed on LDDC-owned sites were to residents of Southwark, Newham and Tower Hamlets. LDDC does not record what proportion of these purchasers were on the borough's housing waiting lists.
