asked the Prime Minister which Government Departments have been involved in consultations on the future of a focus for national play.
The Prime Minister
The Department of Health and Social Security, Education and Science, Scottish Office, Welsh Office, and Northern Ireland Office were consulted in 1986 during the Department of the Environment's review of its support for the voluntary organisation, Play Board. All have been kept in close touch with subsequent developments.
