asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is the cost to the taxpayer to maintain someone in Department of Health and Social Services accommodation in the Newry/Armagh area.

The average gross costs in the year ended 31 March 1986 of maintaining someone in the various types of accommodation provided by the Southern Health and Social Services Board in Armagh/Dungannon and Newry/ Mourne units of management are set out in the table. These exclude income, capital and central administration costs.
