asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what additional financial assistance will be made available to hospitals in the Riverside health district from the special fund set up to ease the impact of reallocation of resources away from London under the resource allocation working party arrangements.

It is for the North West Thames regional health authority to submit proposals, within Departmental guidelines, for spending its allocation of £2·6 million for 1987–88 from the special fund established to ease transitional problems in regions receiving less than national average growth.
